Not a medical device
SOMA is a food and lifestyle product. It is explicitly not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and does not replace advice from a doctor or a dietitian.
This boundary is not a question of wording but a product rule: the moment a tool claims a medical purpose, it is not the marketing that changes but the product. That is why SOMA checks no personal supplement lists, prescribes no intake amounts, and derives no statements about individual people from measurements.
Statements about nutrients, additives and constituents are statements about food. They come from the sources named and each carries its origin. Where a value is missing it shows as “—” and not as “0”.
The rating rule set has not yet been signed off professionally. While that is the case, every rating in the app carries the word “proposal”, on the number itself.
